Surgery update

With the danger of COVID-19 still very much present in Devon, we have safety measures in place to protect patients and staff by reducing unnecessary contact and travel.

We would like to thank our patients for bearing with us during these very busy and unprecedented times. Our phone lines remain very busy during our opening hours, but please stay in the queue and your call will be answered.

If you need to seek advice from your GP, please contact us online via our website, and submit an eConsult via the blue box on our home page. You will get a reply by the end of the next working day. To protect you and our staff, you are likely to be offered a telephone consultation in the first instance but your GP will give you a face-to-face appointment if they identify that you need one.

Please be reassured you will still get a face-to-face appointment if your GP thinks you need one – you should only go to hospital A&E departments in an emergency.

If you do need to visit for an appointment, we will tell you everything you need to know and what measures are in place to keep you safe. This includes keeping our front doors closed, with a intercom door system in place. This is for your own safety (and ours) and it may mean a short wait outside of the Surgery until the receptionist can speak to you.

Thank you again.
