“Don’t contact the NHS to seek a vaccine – we will contact you.”
is the message from local GP and CCG clinical chair, Dr Paul Johnson, as the first coronavirus vaccines were given to local people this week.
Paul was speaking today in a weekly video alongside Steve Brown, Devon County Council’s director of public health. It aims to keep patients, professionals and the public up to date with the latest information.
The NHS’ message to local people is:
- Please don’t contact the NHS to seek a vaccine – we will contact you
- When the NHS contacts you, please attend your booked appointments
- Please continue to wear a face covering in public, maintain space from others, and wash your hands regularly.
