Brain Tumour Awareness Month

March is brain tumour awareness month. A brain tumour is a growth of cells that grows in the brain, in an abnormal and uncontrollable way.

Symptoms of a brain tumour could include:

  • Headaches
  • Seizures
  • Persistently feeling sick or vomiting
  • Mental changes such as memory loss
  • Vision or speech issues.

You should contact your GP, if you experience these types of symptoms. Particularly, if you have experienced a headache that is different to ones you usually get.
