Mental Health Support

Quite often we can experience anxiety and a range of emotions due to certain situations, or triggers. Please contact us on 01392273805 to arrange to speak to one of our doctors if you are feeling a little bit low or anxious. If you are seeking support out of hours, you can access the following:

Community Connectors: If you are aged 11-18 and live in Exeter and would like support to improve your wellbeing then a community connector may be beneficial for you. A community connector can help you with:

  • Joining a club
  • Learning new skills
  • Meeting new people
  • Doing more things that you enjoy
  • Identify new things that might be right or you.

If you are interested in this, then contact your GP who can make the referral.

Childline – Childline offers a free phone and text service where you will be able to speak to a trained counsellor. Their website also offers a variety of videos, games and articles. they can be accessed here.

Kooth – Kooth provides free mental health support with trained counsellors. Similarly, Kooth offer free resources, tips, discussion boards and articles. Kooth can be accessed here.

NHS Every Mind Matters – This website offers free personalised mental health support with an interactive quiz that is designed to help you feel more in control of your own wellbeing. This website can be accessed here.

Youngminds – Youngminds is a mental health charity providing support, advice and resources to young people supporting their mental health. Their website can be accessed here.
