Pregnancy

If you’ve had a positive home pregnancy test, this means you are pregnant. Ideally you should book a routine appointment with one of the doctors to discuss the pregnancy, review any medications you are taking and discuss any lifestyle advice issues. We advise you to start Folic acid, or a pregnancy vitamin as soon as you are trying to conceive.

You will need a one hour booking visit with the midwife within a few weeks of finding out you are pregnant. Please book this through reception.

If you need to contact the midwife, you can leave a message via reception, or call 01392 406686.

After you have had your baby, you will be invited in for a 6-8 week post-natal check with a Doctor.
